What is Domain SEO?
Hi guys today i am going to write something difference, starting from today i am going to post more high quality content about seo. Today is one of the posting that i am going to write about the very first step that you must do before you start your SEO campaign. You must be wondering does domain play apart in seo? Through out my testing, i personally feel that domain configuration play a part in SEO. So what is domain SEO? Domain SEO is a set of configuration from your registrar and hosting that can help you rank higher by leverage the on-page optimization. This is one of my golden rule that i always do for my client before i start any on/off page optimization.
The very first thing you must do after you bought your domain from the registrar is to enable to whois privacy for afew dollars more. In Namecheap.com they called it as Whoisguard. Whois privacy protection is to protect you from spammer and based on my testing google do really pay attention to domain ownership changes. They will quickly devalue or de-index domain in the hands of new owner.
Another reason why i always suggest to people to pay afew more dollars more for whois privacy is to protect you from spammer! Let show you an example below:-
For this testing i will be using U-SLIMMING.COM, first you go to http://whois.domaintools.com/ and enter U-SLIMMING.COM. Notice something for the below screenshot? EF8Q3QXPZGG5
As you can see that they are giving out your email address which allow the spammer take from the database and email you lots of junk stuff. Now let us take a look at the new domain which i recently just registered and you will see the difference.
From the screenshot you can see that the registrar did not reveal my contact and also my address, this is what i mean by whois privacy from i purchased from namecheap also know as whoisguard which cost me $2.88 per year. In godaddy is know as privacy with business registration which cost. Afew dollars more and save me from all the spammers.

Domain SEO optimization for expiring date
Let me share something important when you purchase your domain, always ensure that your domain is renew to more than 2year. Google do pay attention to your domain duration.
If your domain is renew to at least 2years before expiring, this show google that you are serious in your business and domain. I always purchased domain for more than 2years duration and it’s always work for me when it come to SEO. Based on my testing it is usually easier to rank domain that is at least renew to more than 2 years than 1 year duration domain. Google really pay attention to your domain duration when it’s come to Domain seo optimization.
Domain SEO optimization private nameservers
For this optimization to be done, you need to host your website on a dedicated ip address before you carry out this testing. The reason is simple you do not want to share your private nameservers with people. Having your own private nameservers look good in google eyes, which this can only be done on a SEO hosting with a dedicated ip address.
